A Landmark of Design and Innovation

Built in the heart of Los Angeles during Hollywood’s Golden Age, Tower Theatre was famed for its technology and creative flair. It was among the first cinemas to be wired for sound and feature air-conditioning, while its glamorous style, complete with marble columns, Tiffany stained glass, and a 100-foot clock tower, made it an instant landmark.

Staging a Comeback

The renovation of the theater — now a designated historic monument — was done with great attention to detail. Architects and historians were consulted in order to preserve the building’s character, and artisans were brought in to restore decorative elements like the hand-painted ceiling dome and the plaster sculptures that once adorned the marquee.

Ready to Perform Again
