(1) AppleCare+ must be purchased within 60 days of the original purchase date of your iPad and provides coverage from your AppleCare+ purchase date. AppleCare+ benefits are in addition to rights provided by consumer law. Service coverage is available only for iPad, its original included accessories, one compatible Apple Pencil, and one compatible Apple-branded iPad keyboard used with your iPad for protection against (i) batteries that retain less than 80% of their original capacity, and (ii) Each incident of accidental damage protection is subject to a service fee, plus applicable tax. For all iPad mini (A17 Pro), 11-inch iPad Pro (M4), 13-inch iPad Pro (M4), 11-inch iPad Air (M2), and 13-inch iPad Air (M2) models the service fee is NZ$49 for screen repair and NZ$169 for all other accidental damage. The service fee for accidental damage to all other iPad models is NZ$75. The screen repair service fee is only available on iPad mini (A17 Pro), 11-inch iPad Pro (M4), 13-inch iPad Pro (M4), 11-inch iPad Air (M2), and 13-inch iPad Air (M2) iPad models and when there is no other damage present. The service fee for Apple Pencil or Apple-branded iPad keyboard is NZ$49. Replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or previously used genuine Apple parts that have been tested and pass Apple functional requirements. AIG Insurance New Zealand Limited underwrites the insurance and has an A (Strong) insurer financial strength rating given by Standard and Poor’s (Australia) Pty Ltd. The rating scale in summary form is: AAA Extremely Strong, AA Very Strong, A Strong, BBB Good, BB Marginal, B Weak, CCC Very Weak, CC Extremely Weak, SD Selective Default, D Default, R Regulatory Action, NR Not Rated. The rating from 'AA' to 'CCC' may be modified by the addition of a plus (+) or minus (-) sign to show relative standing within the major rating categories.
