I saw a response to this problem that said just because the light goes out, does not mean that the AirPods are not being charged. Is this true? I have just bought the AirPods and this is the first time I am charging them. I am using the cable that came with the AirPods . I own a 2021 MBP 14" which didn't come with Apple's 'fast' power adapter (96W). If I attach a fast charger from a reputable brand which supports Power Delivery via the USB-C port to the MagSafe 3 cable, will MagSafe still fast charge my laptop? I fear the answer is no, presumably the charging protocol behind MagSafe is proprietary to Apple..
